About the Event
Join Joni Moore, a puppet maker based in Northern Ireland, as they give a fun insight into the world of puppets! This talk will cover the art of puppet making and Joni's experiences working with puppets on film sets, as well as showcasing examples of their puppet creations.
Joni Moore is a MA Design Practice graduate at The Northern School of Art based in Hartlepool where they also attained a BA (hons) degree in Costume Interpretation with Design. As a maker of costumes and puppets, Joni focuses on the creation of otherworldly characters which appeal both to children and the “inner child” within adults.
